Fisherman's hospital tympanum, Great Yarmouth

The tympanum was deteriorated and some pieces were severely damaged, in need of remodelling. The remodelling was done with lime putty as well as a lime wash over the top with colouring to match what it previously had. The plaque underneath also had repairs, with the lettering re-carved, and was also repainted since several areas had worn away, revealing the stone underneath. Now the tympanum and plaque are in good condition with a coating to help protect it from weathering.
